Captain Ben Knight

            My name is Ben Knight, and I was born and raised in Florence Alabama.  I moved to the Alabama Gulf Coast area in 2014. I graduated from Gulf Shores High School and spent my summers serving as a Deck Hand and First Mate on multi-passenger sport-fishing charters. I've worked at several of the popular marinas in the Orange Beach and Gulf Shores region including Zeke's and Orange Beach Marina where I also have spent an extensive amount time on multi-day tuna and marlin fishing trips.

Although I was accepted into several universities, I knew the only path for me was the sport-fishing industry, so after high school, I wasted no time in securing my Captain's License.  It is and has always been my passion and I have spent countless hours on the water. From the rivers of North Alabama to the southern Atlantic Ocean and every body of water in between. If the weather and wave conditions are right - you'll find me on the water for both work and play.  Fishing has always been a family-oriented activity. My Dad and brother and I love spending time on the water together and I've made some of my best memories spending time on the water with family and friends. I want to help your family have the same type of experiences so I've designed my schedule with shorter trips to make it easier to fit into your vacation schedule and more affordable, so that the whole family can join in on the fun.

As a Charter Boat Captain in the Gulf Coast region, I have mapped out hundreds of the best fishing points and I can take you directly to them. Through sheer experience, I've learned where the fish gather, the best times to catch them and their most tempting bait. There are lots of variables.... season, time of day, the type of tackle, tides and even temperature. 

 

My job is to get fish on your hooks and smiles on your faces and most days I can guarantee both will happen. So let's start making memories your family will talk about for years to come!
